Getting to Belfast
Belfast is accessible from anywhere in the world by two flights. The city’s airports (George Best Belfast City Airport and Belfast International Airport ) are closely located to the city centre. It only takes an hour to fly here from London (179 flights a week) and there are 20 direct European routes including Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin, Milan Barcelona and Brussels.
Dublin is just 2 hours away by train or bus.
From George Best Belfast City Airport > Belfast City Centre: 3 miles/about 5km
- By bus: the Airport Express 600 runs every 20 minutes from 6am – 10:05pm Monday to Friday.
From Belfast International Airport at Aldergrove
- By bus: the Airbus service 300 runs every 15 minutes during peak times Monday to Friday, every 20 minutes on Saturday and at 30 or 60 minute intervals on a Sunday
- By car: 30 minutes drive via the M2 Motorway.
From the Dublin airport:
- By rail: Enterprise Service runs 8 times daily (5 times on Sundays) It takes approximately 2 hours.
- By coach: the Dublin Airport Express Coach Service operates 24 hours a day, with a journey time of approximately 2 hours.
