Advancing Disaster Risk Management through EU Space Programme

Disaster Risk Management (DRM) aims to prevent, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and man-made hazards through coordinated policies, data, and tools. Since 2022, EUSPA and EURISY have co-organised 13 national workshops across EU countries on how satellite-based services can advance DRM, working closely with national authorities and experts in the field. The session will showcase EU space capabilities and its practical action and impact on DRM, and will share national perspectives, outcomes, follow-ups, and next steps for cooperation and implementation.
